At Anei Spices, your satisfaction matters. Because we sell food products, our return policy is governed by food safety regulations — but we go out of our way to make things right when something goes wrong.

2. When You CAN Return / Get a Refund
Damaged Package or Product
- Take photos of the damage before opening if possible
- Email hello@aneispices.com within 48 hours of delivery
- Include: order number, photos, and brief description
- We'll arrange free replacement or full refund within 7 business days
Wrong Product Delivered
- Email us within 48 hours with photos showing what you received
- We'll arrange pickup of the wrong item and dispatch the correct one — no charge
Quality Issues
- If the spice has visible defects, foreign matter, or doesn't match the listed grade
- Send photos within 7 days of delivery
- We'll investigate and either replace, refund, or issue store credit based on the situation
3. When You CANNOT Return
For food safety and hygiene reasons, the following are not eligible for return:
- Products that have been opened, used, or partially consumed (unless defective)
- Products that arrived in perfect condition but you no longer want
- Products damaged due to mishandling after delivery
- Custom-blended or bulk orders
- Products returned without informing us first
- Products reported more than 48 hours after delivery (damage) or 7 days (quality)
4. How to Request a Return / Refund

- Include your order number and 2–3 clear photos of the issue
- Our team will respond within 24 business hours
- If approved, we'll arrange free reverse pickup (or ask you to share courier details if pickup isn't available in your pin code)
- Once we receive the returned item (if applicable), refund / replacement is processed within 7 business days
5. How Refunds Are Processed
- Razorpay / Card / UPI / Net Banking: Refunded to original payment method within 5–7 business days
- Cash on Delivery: Refunded via UPI / bank transfer within 5–7 business days (we'll request your bank details)
- Store Credit: Issued instantly and valid for 1 year — usable on any future order
Note: Actual time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank.
6. Cancellations
Before dispatch
You can cancel any order before it's dispatched (usually within 12 hours of placing it). Email or WhatsApp us immediately. Full refund is processed within 5–7 business days.
After dispatch
Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched, but you can refuse delivery. Once the package returns to us, we'll refund the order value minus actual shipping costs (₹100–₹200 typically).
7. Subscription Orders
- You can pause, modify, or cancel your subscription anytime from your account
- Cancellations made before the next billing cycle are immediate
- Already-dispatched subscription boxes follow the standard refund policy above
8. Promotional Items & Free Gifts
- If you return part of an order that triggered a free gift, the gift may need to be returned too
- Coupon discounts are not refunded — only the amount you actually paid
